The work concerns Aristotle\u2019s investigation into the first principles from which beings derive their existence. It is noteworthy that this is<strong> the first metaphysical treatise in history<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p>The collection comprises three books, as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>After Physics I (A\u2013D):<\/strong> Conditions and stages of the cognitive process. Knowledge of the first principles. The views of the Pre-Socratics, the Pythagoreans, and Plato. The object of first philosophy. What constitutes the sought-after science. The absurd and improbable conclusions arising from the reasoning of other philosophers. Interpretation of key terms in Aristotelian philosophy.<br \/>\n<strong>After Physics II (E\u2013I)<\/strong>: Practical, poetic, and theoretical sciences. Examination of substance: \u201cWhat is being?\u201d The form apprehended by the intellect as the substance of beings. Matter. Beings from an evolutionary perspective. Potentiality and actuality. The One. Critique of Pythagorean and Platonic views.<\/p>\n<p>After Physics III (K\u2013N): Change and motion. Sensible, perishable, eternal, and unmoved substances, and the corresponding categories, \u201cmatter,\u201d \u201cform,\u201d and \u201cprivation.\u201d The unmoved mover, as the fundamental principle of life and the source of the universe\u2019s eternal motion.
